A Super Bowl community

Mathews High School was welcomed into the NFL’s Super Bowl community on Tuesday night during a ceremony at the halftime of the Mathews-King and Queen boys’ basketball game. Stuart Anderson, a 1978 MHS graduate and a member of the 1983 Super Bowl-winning Washington Redskins, presented a special Wilson golden NFL football to the school, making MHS one of 2,000 high schools worldwide that have been recognized in the Super Bowl High School Honor Roll Initiative, part of the Super Bowl 50 celebration. ...
