On Monday night, Jan. 9, the boys’ basketball team of Achilles High School hied off to Williamsburg where they met Williamsburg High School on the George Preston Blow gymnasium court. The Achilles five won a fast game, 17-14, featured by the shooting of Newbill. The “Historic City” boys used the five man defense altogether which held down the scoring considerably.
The school grades for this month are much better than they have been previously. We are glad to note them and hope to improve them next month.
