A new home

Gloucester County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Makalia Records is settling into a new home after relocating recently from an office on Route 17, Hayes, to one in the DeHardit Building in Gloucester C.H. The chamber’s board of directors held its Christmas party last Thursday at YROC Coastal Bar & Grill at Gloucester Point, providing a chance to show appreciation to the five board members whose terms expire at the end of the year, as well as thanking outgoing president Jill Ortiz. They will be formally recognized during the chamber’s annual dinner in March. A busy 2023 is in store for the Gloucester Chamber of Commerce, with Business After Hours gatherings returning on the third Thursday in February at Blown Away Salon in Hayes, and preparations for September’s Gloucester Wine Festival.
