There’s a fun mystery going on Friant Lane. About a month or so ago, someone made and put a full-size silhouette cowgirl on Larry Sherertz’ driveway. She’s perfectly placed between two cemeteries and seems to be mourning a lost loved one. The four residents of his lane have denied any part in her appearance. Just recently, someone tied a scarf around her neck. “She’s there to say goodbye when we leave and howdy when we return. We named her ‘Dale,’” Sherertz said.
