A joyful noise

The gospel sounds of the Gloucester Mathews Men’s Chorus filled the air in Gloucester Court House on Saturday afternoon, just one of several groups to perform during Saturday’s Village Arts Day, which served as the culmination of the monthlong Gloucester Arts Festival. The day included an Artisan Market, food trucks, an appearance by the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Artmobile, and many other events.
