A chimney fire disrupts studies at the Milford Haven School

Quite a sensation was created among the scholars of Milford Haven School last week by a chimney fire. Fortunately no damage was done.

Here’s a new one: “A wood sawing.” There seems to be lots of them in existence in the neighborhood of Diggs of late. Go to one! You’ll enjoy it.

Miss Louise Hudgins very delightfully entertained at dinner on Friday evening last. The table was beautifully decorated with chrysanthemums and covers were laid for eight.

One of the heaviest snows Gloucester County has known in years fell throughout Friday night and Saturday covering the earth with a blanket six inches thick, making all the highways perilous to automobile traffic and cutting off all telephone and telegraph connections to Gloucester.
