Charles Gregory West, a lifelong resident of Gloucester County, died at UVA Hospital in Char-lottesville on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the age of 50. He was a 1994 graduate of Gloucester High School and found great satisfaction working in order fulfillment at Lowe’s Home Improvement. An avid sports fan, he was loyal entirely to the Philadelphia Phillies, Denver Broncos, and racing legend Jeff Gordon. His grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Belvin Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. Peter West; uncle, Milton Belvin Jr., and brother-in-law, Tommy Joe Carmine, preceded him in death. Gregory is survived by his wife, Connie West; daughter, Samantha “Sami” West; parents, Charles and Beverly West; sisters, Darlene Carmine and Gayle Compton (Phillip); nephews, Tommy Carmine and Tyler Compton; nieces, Krystal Cole, Amy Carmine, and Sara Carmine, along with multiple family members and his beloved canine Huck. The family will receive friends at Hogg Funeral Home on Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 1:30-2:30 p.m., with a chapel service beginning at 2:30, conducted by Pastor Ray Goude Jr. Interment will follow at Rosewell Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
