Tickets are now on sale for the Lancaster Virginia Historical Society’s 11th annual “Shuckin’ on the Lancaster Green” Oyster Roast fundraiser, which will be held on Saturday, Nov. 14. Prices increase from $65 to $75 beginning Monday. Executive director Karen Hart urges people to get their tickets soon because this popular event traditionally sells out and tickets will not be available at the door. The LVHS Fall 50/50 Raffle is also underway for the chance to win a cash prize of up to $1,000. Raffle tickets are $5 each or $20 for five tickets.
