The classical-pop crossover trio CelloVoci will perform in concert at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 18, in the Harry M. Ward Auditorium at Mathews High School. The newly-formed group features cello and vocal duo Branden & James, consisting of vocalist Branden James and cellist/background vocalist James Clark, along with singer/songwriter Effie Passero. The trio presents musical collaborations and light-hearted stories that make audiences both laugh and cry, said a press release from Concerts by the Bay. Their concerts feature renditions of both contemporary and timeless classical songs such as “Besame Mucho,” “The Prayer,” “Hotel California” and others.
