Letter: Destroying our country

Editor, Gazette-Journal: President Trump is actively decimating our national parks and historic sites. He demolished the east wing of the White House, then poorly repaired and abandoned the reflecting pool, which can no longer retain water. He has cut down historic cherry trees given to the United States by Japan. He bankrupted the Kennedy Center and has threatened to tear it down because his name can’t be on it. He hates Washington, D.C., and wants to defile it in every way possible, building a huge monstrous ballroom that will dwarf everything around it. His hatred is not just centered on D.C. You can see it throughout the country, with national parks having far fewer rangers to manage them and little to no money for repairs, money that are allocated through Congress. The money has been diverted to other Trump priorities, which is illegal. He is allowing the killing of wild mustangs in the west, and is allowing hunters to kill the wolves of Yellowstone, a keystone species. Then there...
