Rappahannock Community College was named to the 2026 Great College to Work For list, which was published in The Chronicle of Higher Education on Sept. 18. A total of 76 institutions were recognized based on survey results analyzing specific practices and policies. RCC won honors in three categories this year, including “Supervisor/Department Chair Effectiveness,” “Confidence in Senior Leadership” and “Faculty & Staff Well-Being.” The survey results are based on a two-part assessment process: an institution questionnaire that captures employment data and workplace policies from each institution, and a survey administered to faculty, administrators and professional support staff.
