The Virginia Department of Transportation will hold two design public hearings in October to share information and receive comments on the proposed design for the replacement Robert O. Norris Jr. Bridge, located on Route 3 over the Rappahannock River between Lancaster and Middlesex counties. The in-person meetings will be held in an open house format. The public is invited to stop by to review displays and materials, offer comment, and discuss questions with project representatives. The first meeting will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 21, at Lancaster High School, 100 Visionary Way, Irvington. The second will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 22 at St. Clare Walker Middle School, 6814 General Puller Highway, Locust Hill (Middlesex County).
