Sheilah F. Smith, age 78, of Gloucester, Va., passed away peacefully with her husband by her side on Thursday, September 10, 2026.

Sheilah will be remembered for her warmth, deep love and devotion for her family and the Lord. Her sense of humor and gullible spirit brought endless laughter to those she loved. In her world, a good meal could solve anything.

She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Les Smith; her children, Toni Bowen, Stephanie Evans (Al), Chris Hodges (Leslie), June Alexander, Ray Smith (Kim), and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be announced by the family at a later date.
