Walter Reed’s birthday

The Fairfield Foundation celebrated Walter Reed’s 175 birthday over the weekend, at his birthplace in Gloucester. The foundation’s Public Outreach Coordinator, Rachel Alwine, below, cut and served a birthday cake in his honor. Members of the Walter Reed Garden Club attended the birthday celebration, with an array of plants and even a bubble machine.
