I remember that day.
The most unusual site that day was what you didn’t see, airplanes in the sky. The bustling international airport in Clark County, Nevada, was shut down due to the grounding of aircraft. The surreal feeling of emptiness and not knowing what may happen next was most unsettling. The roads were nearly empty in and around the Las Vegas metropolitan area, as it seemed the world came to a complete stop that day.
Although we were thousands of miles from the attacks, our hearts were with all those lost.
Do I remember that day, we all remember that day, and will never forget.
