The Gloucester Youth Football and Cheer League Knights suffered a tough weekend across the board. The 6U Knights fell to Bennetts Creek, 2-0. Notable players were Elliot Rosario and Aaron “Noah” Smith for pulling four flags each. The 10U Lady Knights fell short to Back River, 32-6. Genesis Pluim scored the sole touchdown for the Lady Knights. Willow Harris and Ella Huggins both gained yardage. Cameron Evans, Raelynn Presley, Harris, Huggins and Pluim all contributed to the defense by pulling flags. The 12U Knights also came up short to the Hampton Hokies, suffering a 32-0 loss.
