The Mathews County Republican Committee hosted a fundraising event for the reelection of Rep. Rob Wittman at Belmont (circa 1854), home of MCRC chairman Scott Gibbs and his wife Mari on Aug. 21. The committee welcomed Wittman, who represents the 1st Congressional District, State Sen. Ryan McDougle who represents Mathews and Gloucester counties in District 26, and Del. Keith Hodges, who represents District 68. Hodges performed emcee duties for the evening.
