Ralph D. Lawson of Richmond, formerly of Mathews, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2026, at VCU Hospital in Richmond.

Survivors include his wife, Janice Rae Lawson, and daughters, Stephanie and Jennifer of Knoxville, Tenn.

Services will be held at Kingston Episcopal Parish, Mathews, in the fall.
