PRLGA winners named The Piankatank River Ladies’ Golf Association held a gross scores competition on Thursday, Aug. 13 at the Hartfield course. Winners were: First flight—Kay Stout (first place, 83), Nancy Pannell (second place, 86) and Kayce Turner (third place, 90). Second flight—Gloria Matthews (first place, 97), Mary Francisco (second place, 98) and Christi Lewis (third place, 98). Third flight—Donna Lange (first place, 106), Mary Dorman (second place, 108) and Jenn Trossbach (third place, 109). Lewis was also recognized for coming the closest to the pin on hole #7. Golden Eagle ladies’ hold competition The Golden Eagle Ladies’ Golf Association held a preferred drive, own ball net competition on Monday at the course in Irvington. Winners were: First flight: Gina Custis (first place, 73), Nancy Pannell (second place, 75) and Becky Crannis-Curl (third place, 76).
