Angela M. Johnson has been appointed Gloucester County’s new Real Estate Assessor. Johnson brings more than two decades of real estate appraisal and assessment experience to the position, a release said. She has extensive experience in both the public and private sectors, including more than a decade serving Gloucester County. She most recently was the county’s deputy assessor and previously held positions as real estate assessment manager, interim assessor, Real Estate Analyst II, Real Estate Analyst I and Real Estate Appraiser I. Her career also includes appraisal experience with the City of Virginia Beach, private appraisal firm A Fine Appraisal Service, and as a self-employed residential real estate appraiser.
