The Gloucester County Planning Commission unanimously voted to recommend approval of a conditional use permit that would allow a permanent mobile food vendor court along Main Street for the purpose of hosting Small Town Burger during its August meeting held last Thursday evening in the colonial courthouse. “The goal is food, family, fun,” said Small Town Burger owner Jay Wolfson during the meeting. Applicant Mac Houtz, along with property owner Main Street Properties, LC, and developer Small Town Burger, requested the CUP to develop 0.15 of an acre of vacant property at the southeast corner of Clements Avenue and Main Street into a mobile food vendor court solely to host a Small Town Burger food truck. “I would love to see it before the end of the year,” said Wolfson.
