Gloucester School Board approves new administrators

Among the Gloucester County School Board’s July 14 approved personnel appointments were several new administrators for the 2026-2027 school year. Bryan Leybold of Yorktown was appointed Supervisor of Central Food Service; Rueben Geno Casas III of Yorktown was appointed principal of Abingdon Elementary School; Nathaniel Peterson was reassigned from a math teaching position at Page Middle School to assistant principal of Peasley Middle School; and Crystal Thompson was reassigned from an instructional coordinator position to an assistant principal position at Gloucester High School. In other appointments, Steven Watson of Hayes was appointed to an assistant shop manager position for the Transportation Department; Tina Broaddus of Hudgins was appointed to a preschool special education teaching position at Abingdon; Olivia Rich of Hayes was appointed to a speech language pathologist assistant position at Bot-etourt Elementary School; Michaelina Rondinelli of Newport News was appointed to a ...
