Rose Marie “Mama Rose” Emler, age 80, of Hayes, went to be with Lord surrounded by family on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital. Rose was born on August 5, 1945 to the late Stacie Wagle and Freida Lowe of Indiana. Rose was a social butterfly. She loved to spend her time at the Office Bar & Grille, especially on karaoke night. What she loved most of all was family time and God. In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Wagle; her son, Warren Woods; granddaughter, Veronica Woods, and her grandson, Jeremy Trainer. Rose is survived by her husband, Joseph Allen Emler; her children, Jamie Balus (Floyd), Robin Trainer (Bill), Melvin Black, William Woods, and stepson, William Emler. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Stacie Black, Kristalyn McFadden, Sharon Black, Lynn Montgomery (Ronnie), Chad Black (Day), Justin Woods, Dustin Woods, Erica Woods, Preston Woods, Kellie Brown (CJ), Jacob Hart (Veronica), Brandon Stewart, Joshua Creech; numerous great-grandchildren, and brother, Stacie Kenneth Wagle. The inurnment will be held at a later date at Flat Ridge Cemetery in Indian Camp, Ohio.
