Letter: Help for those in need of house repairs

Editor, Gazette-Journal: I am writing to share information on the services offered by the Rural Housing Partnership in Gloucester County. The RHP offers programs for seniors over 60 and disabled people who own their homes and have limited income. Their purpose is to assist people who want to continue to safely live in their homes but need repairs/upgrades they can’t afford. The program offers grants and low-interest loans. There is quite a bit of paperwork to fill out. You must provide proof of income and monthly expenses. Babs Zuhowski is currently the executive director of the program in Gloucester. She was extremely helpful to me and I was able to qualify and received grant money that does not have to be repaid. They also have volunteers to do repairs with money from local and county sources.
