Preparations are underway for this year’s Abingdon Ruritan Club Fall Seafood Festival, which will be held from 3-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 21, on the festival grounds, located at 8784 Guinea Road in Hayes. The event, which brings the club to donations totaling over $100,000 each year to support community needs, promises some of the best local seafood around and an evening of toe-tapping music. Parking is free.
