Rocketship, an African Sulcata land tortoise, wandered away from his home and went missing for six days before he was finally found by a neighbor on Friday afternoon about a quarter of a mile from his home on Fitchett’s Wharf Road in Moon. Brooke Ryan Damas said her family has had Rocketship about seven years; when Rocketship was first rescued, he was a little bit bigger than a couple of business cards, and now he weighs about 40 pounds.
