Shamonte Lamont Knight graduated on May 13 from Georgia State University’s College of Arts and Sciences with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. He is the son of Jessica Knight Painter of Newport News and the great-grandson of Delores Gayle of Gloucester and the late Sgt. Major Moses Gayle Jr. Knight was an active member of Union Zion Baptist Church, where he participated in the youth usher and choir ministry. He resides in Clarkson, Georgia. Shamonte Knight
