Brewed Awakening Café, owned and operated by the husband-and-wife team Andrew and Amber McDaniel, will be opening soon on Main Street in Gloucester. Situated between Bangkok Noi and Kelsick Market, the café will offer breakfast and lunch from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily except Wednesdays, and will be available in the evenings for special catered events. The couple said they will focus on all natural ingredients, using organic products and offering a full line of breakfast and lunch menus—all available throughout the day. Andrew is the chef, while Amber will handle the house. Breakfast will range from eggs any-way-you-like-them and breakfast biscuits to pancakes, waffles, and house-made corned beef hash. Sides of grits, fruit bowls, loaded yogurt, hash browns and home fries will be available, as well as grab-n-go snacks made and packaged on-site daily.
