Free shredding offered

The Environment Committee of the Abingdon Ruritan Club hosted its first two-hour shredder event in the club parking lot on June 13. The club offered free shredding of paper documents and participants could make donations to the club to support the community. Doma Shred set up a truck with a large capacity device. Individuals from the community as well as club members brought their papers—a total of 3,450 pounds of paper.
