Summer paddles offered on the Dragon Run

The Friends of Dragon Run welcomes guests to take part in paddle trips this summer on the scenic river that flows through Virginia’s Middle Peninsula. This summer, FODR is planning to launch from a new location on the Dragon, downstream from the Teta Kain Nature Preserve (Route 603) near the Middlesex/King and Queen county line. Paddle trips are available every day between July 15-26. More information and registration are available on FODR’s website: https://dragonrun.org/events. Those 18 and older are welcome to register. A $60 donation is requested. Each kayak trip is led by a nature guide who describes the Dragon Run and its unique ecological significance. Guests will see the incredible range of flora and fauna during a three-hour paddle. No prior paddle experience is required. FODR provides all of the equipment needed....
