The Mathews Memorial Library Board of Trustees has appointed Mathews resident Robin Eno to the position of library director, effective July 1. She replaces former director Bette Dillehay, who retired in November 2025. Eno comes to the position with a wide range of experience, said a press release. While serving in the United States Navy for eight years, she was the music librarian for several fleet bands of which she was a member. Additionally, she was a media specialist and technology coordinator in both elementary and high schools and, most recently, served as the elementary music director for King and Queen County Public Schools. Eno holds a Master of Science degree in Library and Information Science, a Master’s Degree in Music Education, and an Education Specialist Degree in Administration and Supervision.
