Gloucester and Mathews counties (as well the rest of the Southeastern U.S.) has been dealing with a deep freeze for more than a week, with temperatures finally above the freezing mark earlier this week. Above, Gloucester supervisor JJ Orth captured this image of a hanging basket of pansies/icicles on his porch at his Seldon Pond Road home. Below, icicles dripped and grew from the eaves of the Mathews Court House building that once operated as a service station.
