Ware Academy students and faculty gathered around the school’s flagpole on Friday morning for a service in remembrance of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. Pictured from left, fourth grade students Layla Vance, Ella Mattox, Lillian Ashberry and Eva Perecko raised the Freedom Flag as student Hannah Lambert led the school in a moment of silence. Another student, Giorgio Nesbitt, led the school in the Pledge of Allegiance, which was followed by the singing of the National Anthem.
