9/11 ride

On Saturday, Sept. 11, 10 cyclists gathered in Gloucester Court House to honor the heroes and victims from the terrorist attacks 20 years ago. Led by Andy Smith of Gloucester, the group rode from the Edgehill Town Center parking lot to the loop around Warner Hall and then to their turnaround point, Machicomoco State Park. The ride totaled 34 miles, and the group enjoyed beautiful weather and excellent riding conditions. Local cycling activities are coordinated on the Gloucester County, Virginia Cycling Facebook page.
