8th annual Gloucester Wine Festival to be held Sept. 23

The eighth annual Gloucester Wine Festival kicks off a month early this year and will be held next Saturday, Sept. 23 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the gardens of Brent and Becky’s Bulbs, Ware Neck.

“The Wine Festival is a celebration of the Virginia Wine Industry, and we are proud to host 13 wineries and a cider cellar, from all over our great commonwealth,” said Gloria Williams, executive director of the Gloucester County Chamber of Commerce. “The Wine Festival is a celebration of Virginia wine, and we are proud to bring this exciting event back to the beautiful gardens of Brent and Becky’s Bulbs a whole month early this year!

“This year’s event will welcome more wineries than ever before,” Williams said.
