The 84 East Peer Recovery Center, Gloucester, is sponsoring a number of events in July that involve recovery, peer support and wellness of community members that suffer from drug/alcohol or mental health issues.

The following is a list of activities planned for the month.

Mondays—All Recovery meeting, Movie Madness and Bingo;

Tuesdays—Taco Tuesday (second and fourth Tuesdays), Cornhole and Beginning Spanish instruction;

Wednesdays—Boundaries, Journaling, All Recovery meeting and clothes closet (first Wednesday of the month);

Thursdays—Arts and Crafts, Uno card game and Recovery Connections;

Fridays—NAMI Connections, Arts and Crafts and Game Day.

84 East Peer will hold its annual summer picnic at Whitcomb Lodge from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday. The menu is hamburgers and hot dogs. Again, the public is invited.
