7 entries in this year’s Guinea Jubilee Print Contest

An introduction to Guinea Jubilee season was held on Sunday afternoon, as the seven entries in this year’s Guinea Jubilee Print Contest were unveiled at a reception held at the Point branch of the Gloucester Public Library.

This year’s entries include paintings by Nancy Comley, Lori Greene and Lawrence Hollingsworth and three photographs by Paul Blais.

Between 30-40 people gathered in the library’s small conference room to view the artwork, as well as get an update on work being done to renovate the C.B. Rowe and Sons General Store in Bena to the Buck’s Store Museum, as well as Phase II of the Guinea Heritage Association’s plans—converting the site of the old Studebaker building into what Guinea Heritage Association president Ginny Snowden called the Guinea Education Center.
