The Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad, Inc., recently recognized one of its members earlier this month for more than six decades of service. Former Assistant Chief of Station 4 (Harcum) C.W. Miller, at left, was presented a plaque from the station’s current Assistant Chief, Forrest Conner, at the group’s monthly general membership meeting. Even after 62 years, former Chief Miller remains active and committed to serving his community. “Miller’s continued service and dedication has imparted a lasting impact upon our membership over the last 62 years,” a release stated.
