60 entries in Gloucester Citizens’ Christmas and Holiday Parade

Beautiful weather drew a large crowd along Main Street for Saturday’s Gloucester Citizens’ Christmas and Holiday Parade.

According to Katey Legg, recreation superintendent for Gloucester’s Parks, Recreation and Tourism department, approximately 60 entries were included in this year’s parade and awards were given as follows:

Commercial Entry: SONA Bank, first place; Riverside Sanders Retirement Village, second; Chesapeake Bank, third, and Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Towne Realty, fourth.

Motor Club Entry: Gold Wing Road Riders Association, Chapter O.

School Entry: Petsworth Elementary, first place, and Gloucester Montessori, second.

Church-Affiliated Entry: Bethel Baptist Church, first place; Knights of Columbus, second, and Reedswood Christian Church, third.

Community/Civic Club Entry: The Giving Garden Foundation, first place; Middle Peninsula Detachment #1317 Marine Corps League, second; American Legion Post 75, third; Kolonial Klowns of Williamsbur...
