Six former Gloucester High School field hockey players have been named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association’s All-Academic Team.

Named to the National Academic Squad were Cassidy Goodwin of the College of William and Mary, Madi Hutson of Penn State University, Lexi Lester of Roanoke College, Meredith LeBel of the University of Mary Washington, Tori Harwood of Old Dominion University and Katelyn Curtis of Shenandoah University. The recognition requires a 3.3 or higher grade point average for the spring semester.

In addition, Goodwin and LeBel were named NFHCA Scholars of Distinction for having GPAs of 3.9 or higher for the semester. ...
