$4,000+ in mini grants awarded in Gloucester

The Gloucester County Educational Foundation recently announced the award of over $4,000 in mini grants for special projects proposed by teachers in Gloucester Public Schools. The teachers, their awards and projects were as follows:

Abingdon Elementary, Kathy Autrey, $300, Classroom Enrichment; Achilles Elementary, Jacquie Cottingham and Rhonda Taylor, $210.45, Zapped!; Botetourt Elementary, Shannon Kerr, $300, Kindles; and Karen Scalf and Carolyn Molly, $300, Broadway Comes to Botetourt; Bethel Elementary, Tina Theuerkauf, $279.36, Reading with Technology; Petsworth Elementary, Sharon Carino, $300, Making Math Meaningful.
