Four Gloucester High School athletes placed in the top 10 in their respective events at Saturday’s All-American Track Classic at New Kent High School. GHS competed against 44 other schools in the meet.
In the girls’ 3,200-meter run, Mya Baker finished in third with a time of 12:14:57. Tanner Baker took seventh place in the boys’ 800-meter dash, running a time of 2:04.72.
In the boys’ 3200-meter run, Joel Junker finished in 10th with a time of 11:06.57. Xavier Johnson placed 10th in the boys’ triple jump with a distance of 38-06.
