The Gloucester High School indoor track team wrapped up its season with four athletes placing in the VHSL Class 5 State Indoor Track and Field Championship on Feb. 25 in Virginia Beach.
Mya Baker competed in both the girls’ 1,600-meter and the 3,200-meter run placing in 13th and 15th, with times of 5:37.47 and 12:58.13, respectively.
Tanner Baker placed eighth in the boys’ 1,600-meter run with a time of 4:29.65. Rylan Allcorn finished ninth in the 1,600-meter run with a time of 4:30.94.
Tanner Baker also competed in the boys’ 3,200-meter run, placing 12th with a time of 10:15.48. In the same event, Joel Junker placed 15th with a time of 10:45.74.
