3 Guys Auto Sales, located on Route 17, Ordinary, has made several changes in recent months, co-owner Bud Merritt said.

Merritt, whose wife Roxie is co-owner, said they recently became the first dealer in this region to offer carports and other all metal buildings made by Newmart Builders of South Hill. He said they offer an assortment of building sizes, up to 30’x70’.

The buildings can be partially or fully enclosed. Newmart transports all materials on a trailer and a crew erects the building right at the customer’s site.

3 Guys Auto also sells factory-built sheds made by Old Hickory Buildings in Prospect. Those custom-made sheds are built in a plant and transported to the Gloucester sales lot and then moved to customers’ lots. Merritt continues to sell an assortment of used cars and trucks, which he has offered there for 19 years. When the business first started, he owned it with two partners, thus the 3 Guys name.
