The Gwynn’s Island bridge closure that was scheduled to take place overnight from 10 p.m. this past Tuesday, March 7, until 6 a.m. Wednesday, March 8, was canceled.

According to a press release from the Virginia Department of Transportation, the work that had been planned for that evening was instead completed during the recent closure that occurred on Feb. 26-27.
