2018 Daffodil Festival kicks off with March 3 poster unveiling

Plans are being finalized for the 32nd annual Gloucester Daffodil Festival, which will be held March 24-25 in and around Gloucester’s court green.

This year’s theme, “Paint the Town Yellow,” will celebrate not only the rich history of the festival, but also ushers in the arrival of the bright yellow blooms popping up throughout the area, according to festival coordinator Debbie Wesolowski.

The first public event leading up to the festival, the poster unveiling, will be held from 2:30-4:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 3, at Gloucester Arts on Main. Along with the unveiling of the 2018 Limited Edition Print, Wesolowski said guests will be able to enjoy light refreshments, meet all of this year’s artists and be one of the first people to purchase a print and have it signed.
