Gloucester’s Real Estate Assessment department has completed its 2017 reassessment of real property in the county, and notices should arrive in property owners’ mailboxes today. Property owners can see their new assessments online as early as Tuesday.

Gloucester’s assessor Derek Green will present the overall results of the reassessment to the Gloucester County Board of Supervisors during its meeting Tuesday night, beginning at 7 o’clock in the colonial courthouse, reviewing for the first time how overall values either increased or decreased.

However, in giving an early preview of the reassessment to local media on Tuesday, Green said he is extremely pleased with the work his department has done to make this reassessment the fairest and most equitable the county has seen to date.
