2,000+ attend Wine Festival

Well over 2,000 people filled the gardens at Brent and Becky’s Bulbs, Ware Neck, for Saturday’s seventh annual Gloucester Wine Festival. Organizers of this year’s festival said it was the best yet, as visitors enjoyed fall-like temperatures, sunny skies, a dozen wineries and plenty of vendors.

“I’m so thrilled,” said Gloria Williams, executive director of the Gloucester County Chamber of Commerce, which hosted the event. “It was such an amazing day.” Along with the beautiful weather, Williams said the vendors had a successful day and the crowd had a great time.

Williams said that visitors came from all over the U.S. to enjoy the festival. One group, she said, traveled all the way from New York, while others came from Maryland and Virginia Beach.
