2,000+ attend Gloucester’s first Comic Con

More than 2,000 people attended Gloucester’s first Comic Con, which was held on Saturday at the Gloucester Main Library.

According to library director Diane Rebertus, hundreds dressed up for the event, impersonating a number of different characters, including Wonder Woman, Batman and Rapunzel. She said the day was also filled with activities for all ages such as crafts, games, face-painting, stories and refreshments.

Those who attended were also able to interact with Jersey’s Cards and Comics, spend time with the 501st Legion Storm Troopers, and meet some of the pro wrestlers from Fusion Wrestling. Outside the library, fans who braved the heat enjoyed a gamer bus, other games and story times.
