2 high-density developments win supervisors’ approval

The Gloucester County Board of Supervisors paved the way Tuesday night for two new high-density residential developments to begin in the county—one at Hayes and another near the Court House.

The board voted unanimously following a public hearing to rezone approximately 13.9 acres on the south side of Fiddler’s Green Road in the Court House area from single-family to multi-family use. The applicant for what is being called the Fiddler’s Green project, Zandler Development Co. LLC proposes building 51 townhouses and 59 condominiums on the site, with each to be sold to individual buyers.

Zandler is the same company that is currently developing Coleman’s Crossing at Hayes and received accolades from Walter McKibbon, whose property in the Hutcheson’s Subdivision backs up to the proposed Fiddler’s Green development.
